SHEDDERS PLAY GAMES

We meet once a week after our shed breakfast for 2 hours to play a variety of games and provide an opportunity for fellowship and a real chinwag. Some members can’t get up in time to attend breakfast and appreciate getting together later in the day. Others have wives who hate playing games and like to get away and enjoy some gaming.

We are a relaxed group and due to the nature of senior’s memories we work together to make the games work (e.g. who’s lead is it?, what is trump?, etc.). The games we play are intended to last no more than one hour so that we get 2 games in our time slot. We also have games that support a variable number of players since our attendance varies from 3 to 10 or more.
We welcome new players and new games!

ï‚· What Games do we play?: cards (e.g. Hearts, Spades, Euchre), board games, Rummy Kub, Dice, etc. Generally each game takes 60 minutes or less (no all-day monopoly games). We welcome
new games.
ï‚· Where: Almonte Library (for now) – in one of the 2 board rooms or in the open area.
ï‚· When: 10:00 to 12:00 Thursdays after breakfast.
ï‚· Process: We meet on the day and select one or more games depending on how many Shedders show up. Different groups may play different games.
ï‚· Cost: Currenty there is no cost
