such a

good idea!

What we are working on presently!

Although, not officially a NMS project, a couple of our members are volunteering at the Blakeney Food Bank project building storage sheds and

We are presently renovating the new location for the Food Bank in Carleton Place. The space has been gutted and we are erecting new walls and doing the drywall and mudding. The turnout of workers has been super. Many hands make short work.

What we see in our future!

Due to our good fortune, we have a surplus of wood that needs storage and we therefore need to build storage bins. We aim to build these bins in the Spring on the property of one of our members.

One of the local museums is in need of some minor repairs which we hope to undertake.

We hope to create a few "thank you" tables for the people who graciously provided us with fallen trees after the tornado tore them down.

Our membership consists of a number of talented craftsmen who either carve, make wooden toys or repurpose items for sale at event such as the Kintail Country Christmas at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area.
