Naismith Men’s Shed Launches Free Furniture Assembly Service for Seniors in Mississippi Mills
The Naismith Men’s Shed is pleased to announce a new community initiative offering free furniture assembly services for seniors living in Mississippi Mills.
This service is designed to assist seniors who may find assembling flat-pack furniture—such as IKEA-style products—physically demanding, time-consuming, or unsafe to complete on their own. Skilled volunteers from the Men’s Shed will provide friendly, reliable assistance at no cost.
“Our goal is to make everyday life a little easier for seniors in our community,” said a member of the Naismith Men’s Shed. “Something as simple as assembling furniture can become a real challenge, and we’re proud to step in and help—helping our local community one project at a time.”
